I got this to write out alot of my memories for my children -- In case they want to read about that one day. I'm not a morbid person but "you never know" and I just want my kids to be able to know about why I felt a certain way about things. I feel like this book covered everything from my youngest childhood until I had children of my own. Nice prompts and I had read some reviews were people weren't totally happy with the prompts but you need to take the topic and go with it where you need to when writing. They are just giving you an outline to start from. I loved it so much that I purchased one for my best friend.
A friend recommended this book after mom had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I ordered it after going out of state to take care of her. Sadly the disease progressed so quickly that I only had a chance to ask a few questions. But the stories she told me will be forever etched in my mind, as well as in the book. I actually used those answers when I spoke at the funeral to tell people who Mom really was because they gave so much insight to to her personality.It is beautifully made and well laid out. You don't have to ask questions all in order...I didn't because time was so short. But the book has questions you never would have thought of asking, therefore teaching you more about her life, her past, her family, thoughts, and things she cared about the most.I highly recommend that you buy this book and start asking the questions before it is too late and you are no longer able find these things out. It gave mom a chance to think and talk about pleasant memories to distract from her pain. It also made me feel closer than ever to her.
The book is much larger than I thought it would be. I mean actual book, not number of pages, but I'm not complaining! I love them! The books were great quality and interesting.
It's a sweet book with prompts to help you remember thing you may have forgotten. I got one for each adult child to share with their families.
Found one in store for my daughter so ordered this for my son. Perfect for sharing life’s moments with them of things they may not have known or just never discussed. Especially when I’m gone someday. Very special item to share with your loved ones.
I love the quality of it , go tit for my mother in law on mothers day she loved it thought it was cute. I highly recommend I plan on buying another in the future for she can write in in for her future grandkids.
