Michael D’Alessio earned his B.S. in Biology from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey, and his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has had an extensive career teaching all levels of mathematics and science, including AP® Biology. Mr. D’Alessio serves as the Supervisor of the Mathematics and Business Department at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, New Jersey. Lauren Gross earned her B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College and her Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Pennsylvania State University. She teaches AP® Biology to homeschooled children in the United States and abroad for Pennsylvania Homeschoolers, where she is also a home education evaluator. As an assistant professor at Loyola College in Maryland, Ms. Gross taught various biology, genetics, and botany courses. Jennifer C. Guercio earned an M.S. in Molecular Biology with a concentration in neuroscience from Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey. For the past several years, she has been doing research in neuroscience as well as teaching academic writing at Montclair State University. Ms. Guercio attended North Carolina State University as a Park Scholar where she earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees.

This was the review book that my teacher recommended but I was quite disappointed when I received it. The biggest problem I encountered was the lack of practice problems. To me, that's an essential of any review book so one can test themselves on the content. Apart from that, the book also did not go into much detail and some of their very brief descriptions were more confusing than they were helpful. I felt the book didn't give me much of an idea of what would be on the actual exam. I wouldn't really recommend this to others. If you're looking for a good review book, go with the Cliff Notes one.

It's okay. I recommend crash course for subjects like US Gov, history, psychology, econ... The new AP Bio test is more like the one on the ACT. You have to read, analyze, and answer. The old version of the test was straight up if you know the facts (like vocab). The new one is more reasoning.

great for last minute review.... 80 % of the important content of more comprehensive books in less than half the space.... Barons ( or 5 steps, Princeton ) gives the more complete review but takes over twice as long to get through

Earned a 5 on the AP after studying only two nights before with this book. EVERYTHING on the AP was in this book and is the sole reason I performed so well on the AP test. It also helps for in-class review in case you are struggling as it is easy to follow, and accurately reflects the new AP biology exam changes. Highly Recommended.

lots of info all in one small book!

This book helped a lot in my AP Bio class. I used it before every test to review all topics with clear and concise information. I received a 3 on the AP exam with this book as well but I used it with Barron's flash cards.

Good quality, but does not contain all the necessary information for the AP Test.

I go to my granddaughters preschool on Friday afternoons to read them stories...July 4th was coming up and I was looking fora way to explain this holiday to them....I read them this book and we did a "yankee doodle" party around the class room. I don'tknow if they understood any better ....they are all 2 and under...but we had a good time!

This one has all your favorite Sesame Street characters celebrating America's birthday together. Decorating, parade, picnic, costumes, and of course fireworks!

My grandson read this book at least 20 times over the 4th of July. It is a very cute and educational book. I recommend it highly.

Short book but good for the price. 4th of July theme without being overly political or patriotic. Elmo is always a hit!
