I bought 20 books of this series. As a beginner English student, those collections have been very helpful during my study. It contains a variety of different subjects such as history, famous people, places and events. I really recommend these books for beginners or even for adults who wants a brief information about those books.

I purchased this book for my son who was behind in school with his reading. The book cover with what looks like bobble heads got his attention. He is in the 3rd grade and finds this reading easier for him to understand while learning about our history.

It's a great book for my 8 year old who picked Lincoln for a short book report. It easy to read for him and answered all of the questions he had about President Lincoln.

Love it. I have read several of the "Who was" books to my kids. Then they read them on their own a year or so later. GREAT BOOKS!

The biography is complete and interesting for young learners. I bought them for students who learn English as a second language and they are suitable for them.

My son could not put this book down. He enjoyed reading about his current favorite historical figure. He has even picked out a few more he wants to read from the series.

My daughter did a presentation on President Abraham Lincoln and the source material she had available was a bit much for the work to be enjoyable. This book was ordered alongside of a hat/beard costume piece (which was needed for the presentation). The book worked wonders and was well regarded by all of the children that read it. I will buy more from this series of books because the quality was solid.

My ADHD grandson has to read a nonfiction history text for a book report for 5th grade. I am always concerned when I buy a book if it will grab his attention. This did. And has a lot of information for his "newspaper front page" book report.

So adorable! The little books are perfect for my sons little hands. He is really loving his tiny books. They are quite simple but cute. The carrying case that they come in is awesome as well. My son packs up his books (or even without) and Carries his little "suitcase" around the house. What a great buy!👍🏻🙈

I'm so happy I bought these, they have actually increased my 13month old's interest in books! She loves the short hbo Sesame Street shows and so these books definitely drew her interest. She likes the way they stack in their box and their perfect hand held size. She will sit and "read" them to herself, pointing at the pictures and often bringing them for me to read to her. My only complaint with them is that most of the books' content is a bit underwhelming. I also was bummed to see that the illustrations look different book to book. In my attached picture you'll see that the top one looks very authentic while the bottom book doesn't at all. Altogether though I'm happy with the set!

Although these books are very cute I am appalled at how easily they fall apar. I left one in the play yard with my one year old for no than 5 minutes and when I came in to check on her she had eaten a HUGE chunk out of the book! I was so worried I actually ended up calling poison control because she ingested so much of it. I couldn’t believe how quickly they fell apart in a mouth with only 4 teeth. Maybe it was my fault for leaving her alone with it, but my daughter has plenty of board books she’s chewed on without so much as denting, so I didn’t think this would be possible. I ended up giving the rest of mySet the my 3 year old, and he does enjoy them. Just exercise caution when considering giving these books to a teething toddler.

Wish i would have known these were so small, i bought for my 2 year old because she loves books, but these are so small and not alot of pages or pictures.

great deal. shipped fast. ugreat deal. shipped fast. We used these for Operation Christmas Child by Samaritans Purse. We ordered these as well as about 15 other bulk children's items. These items were great for either a boy or girl and good for the two younger age ranges. Its important to be careful when ordering items as some items are prohibited from being placed in the shoeboxes. Using products like these my wife and I were able to pack about 120 shoeboxes for less than $100.sed for operation christmas child shoeboxes.

These books are tiny, but that is what I liked about them. They are perfect for my 1.5 year old. He loves to carry them around and look at pictures and point to Elmo. They are easy for him to hold and getting 12 of them makes it easy to keep them in the car, in my purse, at grandma's etc. Maybe not great for an older child who has the patience to sit and listen to a story, or who is learning to read, but great for the little guys.

I bought these for my 20 month old. She loves them, they are just the right size for her little hands and the "stories" are just long enough to keep her attention. I love that I can toss a couple in my purse or the car to distract her when we're out shopping or eating. She will grab the box and say "open it" and climb up into our laps asking to read these, and she is now starting to memorize some of them.

There are only 5 spreads (10 inner pages) per book. Each spread has one page with a picture and one page with words, so each book contains only 5 pictures plus the cover. I would expect that a book for pre-readers would have more illustrations and less space taken up with words. The words could easily have been printed smaller at the top or bottom of the illustrated page and have illustrations on every page. My 16-month-old loves Elmo, Sesame Street, and books, but these little books do not hold her interest because there are not enough illustrations.

This was a gift so I can only review parts of this. Bright colors are great for little eyes. It's a carrying case (with a handle) filled with 12 small square thick cardboard books of favorite Sesame Street characters. They are each about 2x2. That's about as wide as a playing card and not quite a long.My nephew approved and if he becomes a book terror I think they will be able to withstand his wrath.
